DR. MICHAEL L. JOHNSON
Hello, I am a board-certified Chiropractic Physician with 8 years experience in treating patients. I am a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and of Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis.
I opened this clinic in June of 2003. Since that time we’ve helped thousands of people get well again. We’ve helped people recover from conditions that doctors at Mayo and University of Iowa considered untreatable. We’ve helped people heal from longstanding, chronic disorders that made it impossible for them to work or play. They are now back to living life on their terms.
What do I like about my job? Each day I get to witness little miracles of how the body can heal itself. To be honest, it’s quite a rush to see a person that has had a long-standing health problem get well again.
I believe in using an Integrative Treatment Approach, which means combining treatments that seem to logically make sense. Chiropractic and Massage, Chiropractic and Acupuncture, Exercise and Relaxation Therapy, Nutrition and Exercise and so on. Combining different health-building approaches can magnify their healing effects. This method of treatment seems to be particularly effective with severe or chronic conditions and conditions that have baffled other health professionals.
I believe strongly in the power of choice. If you aren’t aware of Natural Treatment Options, its pretty hard for you to choose them. That is why I work very hard to promote awareness of viable natural alternatives that you can count on to improve your health.
Our focus on healing an individual isn’t centered on treating symptoms. It’s focused on elminating the underlying cause of the dysfunction, the pathophysiology. This approach yields a great deal more health benefits than focusing simply on reducing symptoms.
I believe in a healthy, moderate lifestyle. It’s the best way to prevent problems. I believe in the curative and protective powers of nutrition and lifestyle change, these are the true agents of disease prevention. There are many factors that go into a person’s health and I feel it is my duty to help people realize their health potential in as many different ways as I possibly can.
If you are looking for quality care and a staff that is committed to helping you, you should definitely consider us for your care.
