DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING

Diagnostic imaging helps us to identify underlying conditions, make clinical decisions, and monitor treatment progress.  In our office we utilize two different kinds of diagnostic imaging and if more is needed we will refer you to another facility.

Insight%20Millenium.JPGINSIGHT MILLENIUM SPINAL SCANTM

The Insight Millenium Spinal Scan is one method of determining injury to Spinal Nerve Roots.  We use this as both a screening tool and as a way to monitor progress through treatment.  Injured Nerves cause an inflammatory reaction to occur in the area of the injury. That inflammation can be mapped by this sort of thermal imaging.

The Insight Millenium Spinal ScanTM is a thermographic scan that can locate and measure the amount of spinal nflammation that occurs with a Spinal Misalignment.  It is a useful tool for understanding the location and severity of a spinal condition.

DSC00477.JPGX-RAY ANALYSIS
Spinal X-rays can tell us plenty about your body's current state of health.  From X-rays we can determine the health of your spinal discs, space available to nerves, whether there is spurring and other degenerative changes taking place, and what postural abnormalities you may have.  It can also allow us to screen for more dangerous conditions like abdominal aortic aneurisms and cancers.

The determination of whether to X-ray or not is done on a case by case basis.  Factors such as a long-standing, chronic condition, trauma, or radiating neurologic symptoms raises the chances of you needing this form of analysis.

ADI.jpgMAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI)
Sometimes more diagnostic information is needed.  If this is the case, we will refer you to ADI. ADI is a diagnostic imaging facility that we are associated with.  They have MRI and CT Scanning capabilities.

Our clinic is then able to access your scan data via a secure web connection for interpretation.  This is an extremely useful tool for us to understand a complex problem.

These forms of Diagnostic Imaging can better help us to to understand the true nature of your problem.  They can alert us to underlying conditions and help us prevent serious problems before they happen.
