EXPECTING MOTHERS
- 3-Week Interval Wellness Checks until delivery.
- Managing Flare-Ups
- 3-Week postpartum follow-up for non-caesarian births.
SCOLIOSIS PATIENTS (0-18 years)
- Staying in alignment can help the bones grow more evenly. An orthopedic law called “Wolf’s Law” states that bones grow more slowly on sides that bear more weight. Misaligned Vertebrae bear your body’s weight unevenly and growth can be lopsided as a result. Regular adjustments can help vertebrae achieve more normal growth.
- If your child has greater than a 30 degree scoliosis you may be refered to an orthopedic doctor for evaluation.
- Clinically, we have been able to reduce functional scoliosis by as much as 20 degrees. Care involves chiropractic adjustment and posture-specific stretches and exercises.
SCOLIOSIS PATIENTS (18+ years)
- A person with a scoliosis has a postural assymetry that can increase the chances of developing arthritis in affected joints as they age. Once asymptomatic, monthl adjustments can help minimize joint problems and keep you from having painful relapses. It’s better to be proactive with regular care.
