What is integrative medicine?
Integrative medicine combines the best of conventional medicine with evidence-based natural therapies to support whole-person health. It focuses on prevention, healing, and long-term wellness by addressing the physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors that affect your well-being.
What is functional medicine?
Functional medicine is a root-cause approach that looks at how your body systems are interconnected. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we identify and correct the underlying imbalances—like inflammation, hormonal shifts, gut dysfunction, or nutrient deficiencies—that contribute to chronic health issues.
How is this different from regular primary care?
Traditional primary care often focuses on diagnosis and medication, while integrative and functional medicine go deeper. We take time to understand your full health story, use advanced labs if needed, and build a personalized care plan that may include nutrition, lifestyle changes, stress management, and targeted supplementation.
What conditions do you treat?
We provide care for both acute and chronic conditions, including:
Fatigue & low energy
Thyroid disorders & hormone imbalances
Digestive issues (IBS, bloating, reflux)
Weight management & metabolic health
Anxiety, depression & stress
Autoimmune conditions
Inflammation & joint pain
Sleep issues and more
We also offer preventive care and wellness optimization for patients who simply want to feel better and stay ahead of disease.
Do you use natural or alternative therapies?
Yes—with intention. We use evidence-based natural therapies such as nutrition, herbal support, and high-quality supplements alongside conventional tools like lab testing, diagnostics, and prescriptions (when appropriate). Our goal is to choose the safest, most effective options for each individual.
Do you replace my primary care provider?
We offer integrative primary care, so we can often serve as your main healthcare provider. If you already have a PCP, we are happy to collaborate as part of your care team.
Are labs and testing included?
We offer a range of standard and advanced lab testing, including:
Bloodwork (CBC, thyroid, hormones, etc.)
Nutritional assessments
Inflammation markers
Basic labs are discounted for members. Advanced testing may incur additional costs, which we’ll always discuss upfront.
What is the role of supplements?
Supplements can help correct deficiencies, rebalance systems, and support healing. We use practitioner-grade products chosen specifically for you. Supplement recommendations are always personalized, safe, and backed by science.
Is integrative/functional medicine right for me?
If you’re tired of quick fixes, want more time with your provider, or feel like something’s being missed in your care—integrative medicine may be the missing piece. We work with people ready to dig deeper and take a proactive role in their health.

How do I become a patient?
Becoming a patient is easy! Start by scheduling a free consultation here. We will figure out which structure works best for you (traditional versus direct primary care). We'll also guide you through the intake process and answer any questions before your first visit.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first visit is a deep dive into your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. We’ll review your labs (if available), discuss concerns in detail, and begin crafting a personalized care plan.
Do you see children?
Not at this time. We are currently only going to be seeing patients ages 18 and older. We hope to expand services as soon as possible!
Do I need to transfer my medical records?
It’s helpful, but not required. If you'd like us to review prior labs or history, we can request your records with your permission—or you can upload them directly through our portal.
How do I contact you between visits?
Once you’re a member, you’ll have direct messaging access through our secure patient portal. You can ask questions, request refills, or check in anytime.
-
What is telehealth and how does it work?
Telehealth allows you to meet with your provider via secure video or phone from home, work, or anywhere. You’ll receive the same personalized care without needing to visit an office.
What kinds of conditions can be treated virtually?
We treat most chronic and acute conditions via telehealth, including:
Fatigue, anxiety, and thyroid disorders
Colds, UTIs, rashes, and minor infections
Digestive issues and menstrual concerns
Medication refills and supplement guidance
Is it safe and private?
Absolutely. We follow HIPAA-compliant protocols for telehealth. Your information is always secure and confidential.
How do I schedule a telehealth visit?
Once enrolled, you can book visits online, through our portal, or by messaging us directly. We’ll coordinate timing that works for your schedule.

What if I don’t have insurance or prefer not to use it?
You have the option to enroll in our Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership, which offers:
Unlimited telehealth and in-person
Same/next-day appointments
No co-pays or surprise bills
Discounts on labs and supplements
Direct messaging access to your provider
This model is ideal for patients who want more time, access, and personalized support—whether or not they’re insured.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. HSA and FSA funds can typically be used for:
Visit fees
Lab testing
Nutritional supplements (with a provider's recommendation)
DPC membership fees (check with your benefits administrator)
How do I decide between insurance or DPC?
We’re happy to help you choose the best fit. Some patients use insurance for occasional visits, while others prefer the unlimited access and simplicity of DPC. You can also use a combination of both—such as using insurance for labs or imaging, and DPC for primary care access.
Are labs and supplements covered?
Labs: If you're using insurance, standard labs may be covered (based on your plan). If you're a DPC member, we offer wholesale lab pricing—often 50–90% less than insurance-based rates.
Supplements: Not typically covered by insurance, but members receive discounted, practitioner-grade options with personalized recommendations.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We strive to make care accessible and offer flexible billing options for memberships, labs, and other services. Let us know if you need a custom plan.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and online portal payments.
